Canterbury braided river and open plains in New Zealand

New Zealand School, Care & Accommodation Support.

A coordinated starting point for international families planning a school experience, longer study pathway or supported arrival in New Zealand.

Education & student support

Plan the education journey as one connected experience.

School selection is only one part of an international student's New Zealand journey. Application timing, documents, insurance, accommodation, care arrangements and arrival preparation often need to move together.

Spicy Maggie helps families organise those practical workstreams, understand who is responsible for each decision and keep important outcomes tied to formal confirmation from the relevant school, authority or provider.

Support around the student and family.

The scope is agreed around the student's age, learning background, family goals and intended timing.

01

School information and application coordination

Organise school options, application steps, required information and the questions that still need a formal answer.

  • School and programme information
  • Application documents and timelines
  • Communication and progress coordination
02

Care and accommodation planning

Bring the student's living arrangements and day-to-day support into the plan instead of treating them as a late addition.

  • Homestay and accommodation coordination
  • Designated caregiver information
  • Location, transport and daily routine
03

Arrival and local preparation

Help the student and family understand practical next steps before travel and who to contact after arrival.

  • Pre-departure and arrival information
  • School-day and local-life preparation
  • Family, school and support communication

How the work progresses

A clear path from initial plan to arrival.

Each stage records what is known, what still requires confirmation and who owns the next action.

Clear service and professional boundaries.

Families should be able to distinguish coordination support from decisions made by schools, government authorities and licensed professionals.

  • Spicy Maggie does not guarantee school admission, visa outcomes, accommodation availability or care approvals.
  • Schools and other authorised providers formally confirm enrolment, accommodation and programme conditions.
  • Individual immigration advice must come from Immigration New Zealand or an appropriately licensed immigration adviser.

Selected client and partner work

A school application, family arrival and accommodation aligned.

An international family needed to coordinate a New Zealand secondary-school application with the parents' arrival and a place to stay. Spicy Maggie helped organise the application, align the family's practical arrangements and coordinate accommodation. The school application was completed, the parents arrived in New Zealand during the same period, and accommodation was arranged. The family, school and accommodation provider are not identified.

A school-experience partnership prepared with an education organisation.

Through its China brand 爱辣游, Spicy Maggie worked with an education organisation on a short New Zealand school-experience programme. The partners set out responsibilities for recruitment, enrolment and group leadership, alongside New Zealand reception and local coordination, and prepared pre-departure materials. The result was a defined collaboration and delivery plan; programme operation and student participation have not been confirmed. The partner and students are not identified.

Discuss the student's study plan.

Share the student's background, intended timing and the support the family is trying to coordinate.
