• Basic technical information used to keep the website secure and reliable
• If you submit an enquiry, the first page visited in that browser tab, the referring website's hostname (if available), and any UTM campaign parameters in the entry link

How we use information

We use submitted information to understand and respond to your enquiry, coordinate the appropriate part of our business, maintain service records and protect the website from misuse.

Enquiry entry and campaign details help us understand which website content or referral led to an enquiry. They are included in the internal enquiry email only when you submit the form; we do not collect the full referring URL through this feature.

We do not sell personal information. We only share information with service providers or relevant delivery partners when it is reasonably necessary to operate the website, respond to the enquiry or deliver an agreed service.

Who may process information

Spicy Maggie Limited is responsible for information submitted through this website. Our website hosting, email, security and other technology providers may process limited information on our behalf, and relevant delivery partners may receive information when needed to respond to an enquiry or provide an agreed service.

Some technology providers may store or process information outside New Zealand. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that protect the information in a way consistent with New Zealand privacy requirements.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregated website traffic and performance. It is designed to provide these measurements without using cookies, collecting personal information or tracking individual visitors across websites.

Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable operational and technical measures to protect information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, service delivery, business records or applicable obligations, then delete or anonymise it when practical.

Your choices

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to stop using information that is no longer required. Contact us through the website enquiry form and identify the information concerned.

The website stores your chosen language and the date of that choice in local browser storage for up to 90 days. You can clear this preference through your browser settings.

Enquiry entry and campaign details are held in session storage for the current browser tab. You can clear them by closing the tab or clearing your browser's site data. If you do not submit an enquiry, these details are not sent to us through the enquiry form.

For privacy questions, access or correction requests, contact the Privacy Officer at Spicy Maggie Limited through our contact form. Choose “Something else” and state that your message is a privacy request so it can be directed appropriately.
